Melalueca alternifolia provides the strongest natural, broad-spectrum antiseptic known, and is a fresh, high quality oil possessing strong bactericidal, fungicidal, antiviral, anti-inflammatory and anaesthetic qualities. The quality of the oil can change dramatically depending on the source of the tea trees; where and how they are grown and how the oil is distilled, stored and used. The oil is tested for traces of heavy metal, pesticides and herbicides. The oil is thoroughly analysed through gas chromatograph tests to ensure the composition of the oil conforms to Australian and International standards. Each batch of oil is tested for its anti-microbial efficacy.

Directions for Pure 100% Tea Tree Oil
To be used sparingly on minor areas of the skin a couple of times per day for optimum healing results.
If you wish to use the pure tea tree oil on a larger skin area we would suggest you dilute the pure Tea Tree Oil with water 1:10. alternatively you could use our already formulated skincare product Metque 10% Blended Tea Tree Oil.

The pure Tea Tree Oil can be used in conjuction with other products from the Metique range including the tea tree oil skin wash and tea tree oil Hand & Body Lotions.

Patients who have previously shown hypersensitivitty to Melaleuca alternifolia Tea Tree Oil should not use this product.
